Seize Your Given Opportunity is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference in our community. With a variety of active projects and a large volunteer staff, we harness our skills and resources to successfully achieve our goals.
We driven to do our part in making the community a better place. Since 2000, we have taken part in a wide range of activities that empower individuals and communities like job training & helping young people find their career in life. Mentor (Success starts at home), Mentor in the prison system (You don't have to leave the same way you came in).

Andre Wilson
Founder
Andre Wilson turned his time in prison into a ministry dedicated to others. For more than twenty years, he has collaborated with community nonprofits and statewide organizations to mentor individuals in his community. In 2023, Wilson was granted a full pardon by Gov. Andy Beshear, having all his criminal charges expunged, and he now advocates for voting rights and better jobs for former felons.
Andre's Seize Your Given Opportunities Inc. is an incredible mission, actively collaborating with community action groups, transitional homes, the prison system, recovery programs, drug courts, and more! With his inspiring story, he provides mentorship that empowers others. Remember, you have the power to leave transformed—you don’t have to walk out the same way you came in!
Andre's Passion for the Youth
Andre's believes that success truly begins at home! When children receive the support and resources they need at home, they can thrive in their communities. By inspiring kids to become better citizens and individuals, Andre is making a real difference. He actively engages with the youth through exciting programs and partnerships with One Lexington, Urban Impact, and Girls on the Run!
